Hello,
our gym just started offering rebounding classes... 45 minute classes with the bar.
I have done two but am so nervous about my ankle. I have many strains and basically shot ligaments. The selling point for this class is that it's sooooo great for joints etc... but I am spectical about ligaments.. There is one move where we do kicks and I feel so weak and insecure landing on one leg.. I have to modify.
Also after about 20 minutes I just have to stop and get off and not move for a second.. You know that feeling like getting off a boat and the world is spinning.. Not that bad but for me this class is almost more mentally exhausting.. Constantly thinking ankle ankle and making sure I land right and also the constant movement.
I like the class as you really do sweat a lot and my body doesnt hurt in the joints or legs so much as other classes. You can really tell that rebounding is easier on the body.. I have more muscle soreness and overall pain after a highimpact class vs. this..

I'd suggest speaking to a physiotherapist who could advise on the risk.0
