Started at 228 in Jan 2017 - in October I am down to 192

In Jan 2017, I weighed in at 228. I was using my elliptical starting in NOV, but things really started clicking when I started tracking my meals. I couldn't believe the amount of calories I was taking in each day.

In Feb/Mar I had shoulder surgery due to a past injury which took me out of my full workouts, but I did what I could and maintained my food register. After PT, this old 47 year old dude got back into my work outs.

My goal is not to be a big buff weight lifter, but to be in good shape. Don't get me wrong, I want to gain strength and endurance...we all just have different goals.

In Sep, I competed in my 1st Spartan Sprint Race at Killington Mountain in VT. I had a great time and plan on doing it again.

I could not have achieved these results without myfitnesspal.
