Newbie don't judge!

Sooo.. my daily calorie intake was 1309.. but then I started reading up on this inquisitive MFP app.. I had entered lightly active .. then I read that because I'm a nurse and walk a ton (activity of daily living) I should check Active as I walk 10,000 steps or more a day which of course isn't exercise. So if up my calorie goal daily! Does this sound right? I know I know newbies eh?!! Also I didn't eat a ton today as I wasn't hungry but I did eat of course some snacks and lunch more snacks and it said I should be eating more when I entered my diary so I had another apple and it said perfect! I know I'm annoying!! I just love asking questions!

    It's hard to say, but I'm losing weight on 1900 calories a day and I walk about 10,000 a day outside of intentional exercise, so I'm guessing you could lose on more than 1300. It depends on how fast you want to lose and how much you weigh now (and your age and height and gender and all that stuff the app asks you for). Good luck!
