Help me remember this movie
Okay I've been dying to know which movie this is.. that I once saw when I was a kid. Here's all I remember:
-it's a war movie between America and I don't know who
-the first scene opens up with people getting shot up and dying (from the foreign side)
-there is a particular scene where they show a classroom being taught, and there's a secret door that opens up and soldiers come out of it.
-there's a scene in which a guy in prison gets his food spit on by an American soldier
-there's an intense fight scene near the end in which either the good or bad guy dies.
-the last scene I believe it shows an American soldier getting on a helicopter, and then it zooms into the American flag.
That's all I remember!

What war was it? Does the protagonist get taken prisoner or does he just stop by to spit in someone's food? Driving me insane.1 -

helicopters (although used in Korea) should be a tip off that it's the Vietnam war or later.

I skimmed it and forgot he said that. Still, OP is unsure so it could be any war movie.

It's all in perspective. 40 is young to me now that I am 63, but when I was 20 it seemed near death.

Did you rent it, watch it on tv or see it in the theater. Do you think it was a independent film, major hollywood movie, or a cheaply made movie (like toxic avenger) Who was in the prison? Were the Americans the bad guys?0 -
