Weight loss

Hey I have been on the fitness weight loss journey only 3 months... I have only lost 2lb. My calorie count on mfp is set at 1200 I exercise 5-6 days a week doing half hour strength 1 hour cardio... I do usually am very close to the 1200 and about 3times a week just over it ... my average exercise burn is 400-500 cal... Suggestions please ?

    How accurate is your logging? Are you using your food scale for ALL solids? Measuring cups/spoons for ALL liquids? Using accurate entries? Using the recipe builder? Are you eating back all your exercise calories (400-500 for only an hour would be extremely high for me but I don't know your stats)? Do you log every single thing that passes your lips?

    How much weight do you have to lose?

    This does sound like a logging issue -- that is, you're probably eating more than you think you are. If you open your diary, we may be able to help.

    An hour of cardio and I only burn about 320-350 calories, and that's jogging. Strength training doesn't burn many calories at all. I wouldn't log it as a calorie burn.

    Open your diary. You're probably eating more than you realize. Also- how much weight are you trying to lose?
