Net carbs or total carbs?

Which should I track? Are there any low-carbers out there who track net carbs? If so, why? The same goes to all low-carbers who track total carbs.

When I did Atkins, I counted total carbs.

I am on a Keto diet. I'm only a few days in. I want to enter ketosis as soon as possible, so I count whole carbs. Once I'm loosing steadily and I'm in ketosis, I will incorporate some high fiber carbs and start counting net carbs. "The more restrictive you are on your carbohydrates (less than 15g per day), the faster you will enter ketosis." https://www.ruled.me/guide-keto-diet/

foodfastfit.com has an app you can download to your mfp food diary and it handles net carbs for you.
