Good morning. I would like to inquire about the benefits or lack there of, in consuming 2tbsps of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) daily. I have heard that it helps the immune system and also assists in losing body fat. Does anyone know if this is accurate or just another "hyped fad?" Has anyone actually used ACV for any reason other than cooking, and it produce any good or bad side affects? Just a thought.

Not accurate (but if you do a forum search you'll find many threads with great uses for it....)

I take it every now and then for digestion. It gets rid of bloat for me at least. It's not going to make you lose weight though. It's also good as a hair rinse to add shine.

And it’s a great anti-acid. Which seems counter intuitive but it works.

COMPLETELY hyp'd fad unless it is the base of a good BBQ sauce. That is the ONLY real, solid, proven application.

Omg it's the most disgusting taste you could ever imagine. If you're gonna drink it, water it down and eat something with it. It's grody.

    I did it for awhile
But I really don't think it helped much...pretty sure it's just a fad

Not true. I've got a glass going and it's doing great at catching fruit flies.

It's also good in a coleslaw vinaigrette.

Mix 1 cup of of it with 1 cup of soy sauce and a 2 tablespoons of vinegar and you can make adobo.

I do it regularly on noon as there is some data to support that it regularizes glycemia, I feel my afternoon is easier. I rince my mouth after to prevent the long-term impact of acidity on the teeth.
