New to dieting need help!

So I just started watching my calorie intake since this past Sunday. I only eat 1200 calories a day. Also I started working out to Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Within those 2 days I've already lost 6lbs. I heard it is bad to lose weight quickly. Is this considered quickly? I started off at 204 and now I'm at 198.
