slow weight loss but still progress!

Hello! I have been using myfitnesspal since august. my goal is to lose 54lbs and have lost 6.2 to date- my weight loss is slow but it's still progress! does anyone have a story of how they lost their weight at a very slow rate? i'm struggling with staying consistent with my calories. i'm usually good for about 3 days, very under, and then I just overconsume for the next 3 or so, hence my slow weight loss. but hey, it's 6.2 lbs more than I was when I started!

    6lbs lost in 8 weeks or so is not small - it is good progress, be pleased and proud - and it is probably better for you and more sustainable than going for a bigger figure

    Why not make the 3 'good' days a little easier - and dont aim for 'very under' - eat to your calorie allowance, treats included. You might find you are less likely to lose the will power over the next 3 days

    Slow, steady and kind to youself - think kindly tortoise, rather than hungry, unhappy hare?
