I get a 30 minute lunch at work. Usually I eat my lunch, which takes all of about 10 minutes (I eat small snacks throughout the day), then sit there playing on my phone for the next 20 minutes. But I'd like to start doing some small exercises during that time. Any ideas on something to do. There is no place to really walk much, I will be outside most of the time and I don't need to get too sweaty due to needing to go back to work.

how about small ballet movements? like just standing and lifting your leg back straight, to the side, to the front.. not cardio but great toning. or if you want something more vigorous, karate kicks and punches and stuff, horse stance, or yoga poses to hold maybe..

Thanks guys.....I really appreciate the suggestions. I am not a desk worker. I am a veterinarian assistant so I'm usually cleaning or wrestling with dogs and cats all day so I do get some workout while working but hate that I waste all that time sitting and playing on my phone when I could get a steady workout in. I may try some yoga or just some squats, lunges and stuff like that.

to be honest, if you are on your feet all day, i would say enjoy your 30 minutes down time.

workout before or after work if you want a proper workout.

Walk while playing on your phone. Best of both worlds.
