Take Both Dumbbells, Damnit

Whenever you are using dumbbells, always take both dumbbells with you, even if you are just using one. This is good for two reasons:

1) People don't have to guess if the other one is being used.

2) This will keep the other dumbbells organized as they are picked up and put back, so they don't get split along the rack.

    meh, give people a chance to create a mess, and they will. that's why i have my own weight set - i always know whom to yell at when stuff is untidy :tongue:

    I'm not gonna grab two 80 lb dumbbells just to do tricep extensions with one. Sorry, not gonna happen.

    Interesting. I didn't realize people had a problem with this. Today I was using a 100# DB for sumo squats and it didn't occur to me to <struggle to> remove and re-rack both when I was only using one.

    Oh well, I get THAT! Weights over 60 aren't really the problem tho right? It's always the 20s and 30s lol

    Okay, works for me ;) And you're right, the heavier weights are never the issue. It's the 20s and 30s that are always mis-racked, lying around on the floor unused, and generally abused by gym-goers with bad manners.
