Looking for support

Well I have been 9n tgis journey for quite some time and I'm super frustrated. I'm 45 years old and I think my hormones are trying to kill me! Lmao (but really) I'm going to tell my story here but what I want is an amazing group of people that are working towards the same goals who are active in the group and support each other in a positive way. No sales, no gimmicks, just support. My goal is to lose 40 pounds in 6 months. April14th, 2018. K here goes.
I was 115 pounds all through my teens and 20s. In my 20s I had three beautiful babies, three years apart. With each pregnant I gained about 45 pounds and lost it all within about three months of having each baby no problem. When I turned 30 it seems like boom I gained 30 pounds instantly. I'm sure it wasn't instant but it feels like it was. I started going to the gym for like 2 hours a day and made no progress at all. I started Herbal Magic out of frustration and dumped so much money into that it is laughable but I reached my goal weight and it was awesome until I blew out my gallbladder. I am not talking about a simple day surgery here. I almost died, I was bedridden for months while they had me on tons of antibiotics trying to get the infection down to operate they finally gave up and took it out. It was neurotic and fused to my liver and small intestine and had to be scraped away. I received a 23 am scar under my right ribline. It was horrible and in the process i gained all the weight back plus 20. My heaviest weight was 184 pounds. Ugh!!!!
In comes Beachbody. I got super involved in that and did great. I started in December and by Auguest, four years ago I was 8 pounds from my goal weight. Then I quit smoking and boom here come the weight again little by little and all the hand to mouth trying to avoid smoking I gained back 32 pounds. So for the past four years I have been struggling, gaining and losing the same 5 pounds over and over agsin. I can't seem to get the focus back that I had while doing Beachbody and I can't seem to get my calories and activity balanced in a way that I am not hungry all the time and that I am burning enough calories to lose weight.
I have tried a few "magic pills" fully knowing there are no mafic pills but simply out of frustration and i feel like all i need is the right group of people to work with to get this done once and for all.
Please help if this is something you are ready to do as well.

Thanks Cecil! I'm hoping to join to start a group on here that's very active and supportive. I have tried this in the past but find it hit or miss as to whether people participate or not1

Hi country girl - are you working with a trainer or a nutritionist? Sounds like you have had some major health issues that you've battled successfully and a professional who is aware of them might have some insights for you both in terms of food and in terms of exercise that I (a nonprofessional) don't have. If you're hungry all the time, though, you might not be eating enough protein and fiber. You might try some protein shakes and eat more fish - and fruits and veggies - and see if that helps.1

It what I haven't tried lol I have worked with Herbal Magic, Beachbody, Plexus, Noom and a Nutritionist. None of them was the answer. I know what need to be done, I'm lacking the focus to get it done and I know I do really well with a good support group because I feel not only responsible to succeed for myself but for the others in the group. Because by nature in a helper, this works for me. I'm hoping tgere is something like that here that I can get involved in. Kind of tired of spending money without the results to show for it, know what I mean?1

this place, is useful to keep you accountable, and honest. The forums can be useful to get opinions and perhaps change how you view things. As opposed to some of the things you have tried, it costs you nothing!

I'm looking for some more active and supportive friends too. This is a journey and it's easier to take with people who ate following a similar path and willing to share tips and ideas.
Anyone looking for similar please feel free to add me2 -
Yes tying to hit my goal weight let's all hit our goals together- add me if want to.1

Your dietary needs are very different from those with with a gallbladder. Literally anyone can call themselves a nutritionist, no required qualifications, certifications, or standards. You need to see a Registered Dietician, and your insurance should cover it.
Your macros will look very different when following your dietary recommendations, and nutrient timing should be considered as well.1 -
Hello Country Girl! I am 51 years young & I can totally relate! I have gained weight back, feel so frustrated, but yet I just can not focus like I used to! I would love to connect & support each other one day at a time!1

Hey there!
I'm looking for the same. You're story seems similar to mine, but I was sorry to hear about having to lose your gallbladder! I'm 41, and my food intake is great and healthy all day. Then I lose all progress at night. I have dumped so much money towards every program you can think of, but I know my personal lack of success is from lack of focus and frustration- particularity at night. Need some people to reach out to instead of reaching for food.1
