food timing

If I work out first thing in the morning, is what I eat the day before my fuel for that workout? Trying to carb cycle based on what workout I'm doing that day. Leg and back days are my higher carb days. But if I lift those muscles first thing in the morning are the carbs I'm taking in after being beneficial?

Your body has plenty of fuel for any activity at all time.2

^This. Just eat a whole food diet, minimize processed food, get adequate dietary fat and protein without neglecting fiber and micronutrients. It's really as simple as that. No real benefit or need to time nutrition.3
