Dear Friends and Fellow MyFitnessPal-ers,

I have eagerly decided to join a fundraising program called Team in Training (TNT) with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. What does this mean? It means on January 19, 2014 I will be running a half marathon (21km) called the “Tinkerbell Half Marathon” held in Disneyland, in support of finding a cure for blood cancers.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. Seems impossible? With help from people like you, it can happen!

My goal is to raise $4,500 – most of which goes straight to research and patient services, while the rest pays for my entrance fee, travel and accommodations for the race. I’ve reached 8% of my goal so far, with 92% left. I need your help by making any donation you can. No amount is too small! The link to my personal donation page is: http://my.e2rm.com/personalPage.aspx?SID=3812143&LangPref=en-CA

You can quickly and easily make a donation using Credit Card or Paypal through my donation page. Any donation over $25 will be provided a tax receipt (this will be sent out by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, so ensure you document your address accurately).

Thank you in advance for your support. Please note that my pledge deadline is Thursday, January 9 2014! You can email me at sarapope2@gmail.com or check out my Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/GettingSaraToTheTinkerBellHalfMarathon with any questions or more information.

Please feel free to forward this e-mail along to get the message out, and increase donations to this important cause. Thanks for helping me make a huge difference in the lives of those fighting blood cancers!
