Calories in vs out

I’m really confused about how this cal in vs out works. I have it all set up on my Fitbit and linked to MFP. My cal intake is 1200 daily and cals burned is 2000 but it says I’m over one day and not the next. I over reach all my daily goals on Fitbit. Is this in vs out really something to stress about????
Please help!!!

If you have your Fitbit synced to MFP, I recommend that you pay attention to the numbers on MFP and not on Fitbit.4

I find the cal in vs out display on Fitbit is so confusing...part of the day I'm on track, part of the day I'm under, have dinner and I'm over but the next day it shows as on track. I can't follow it. I took the advice from folks here to just use the MFP numbers and it makes so much more sense to me.
Editing....I just looked at it out of curiosity on Fitbit...I have only had coffee, yogurt and raspberries and it is currently showing me as over budget for the day...it's crazy on Fitbit!
