Countdown to Turkey Day Mini-Goal Challenge (With Spreadsheet!)

Hi Everybody!
Fall season can be a really stressful time for anyone trying to lose weight, so I'm inviting all of you to join me on a challenge to reach a mini-goal of your choosing by the week of Thanksgiving. I've put on weight over the last year since the last time I saw my family, so I'm hoping to lose a few pounds before I meet back up with them for the holidays -- hopefully this will give me the motivation I need to stick to my plan between now and then.
INSTRUCTIONS: I've created a google doc spreadsheet, which can be accessed below, for us to keep track of our results week-by-week. All you need to input is your username, current weight, and goal weight -- there are formulas pre-set that will automatically calculate how much you've lost so far and how far you have left to go. PLEASE NOTE: manually entering anything into those columns will mess up the formulas, so please just let the spreadsheet do the work for you

WEIGH-INS: We will weigh in each week. There is a column for you to log your weight for each weigh-in day. Weigh-in days are set for Fridays, but you're welcome to choose whatever day works best for you. I'm hoping that this discussion board can be a morale-booster in between weigh in days where we can check in with each other to vent about difficulties we're having and to share small successes along the way. One of the most helpful things for me when I've lost weight before has been to have a community to check in with regularly and talk to through the process, so I hope this can help us all get closer to reaching our goals

To kick this off, here's a little bit about me: I'm a student and gained about 25 lb for a variety of reasons over the past year. I've been on and off the wagon for months on end now, but I recently had a wake up call when I saw pictures of myself from a bachelorette party and I'm trying to really stick to my plan from here on out. I've been doing weight watchers (which I realize is different from the rest of the people in this community probably), and it does work if I stick to it, so now the goal is just to stick to it. I just got back from a weekend trip with friends that involved a ton of salt and wine, so my weigh-in this morning was a little harrowing, but I'm hoping that after a few days of chugging water and clean eating I'll be able to drop some of that water weight.
