Do you log medicine, vitamins, etc?
I'm about 60 days in, and it never ocurred me to log medicine, as dumb as that sounds haha!
My sister has been trying the keto diet, and only realized yesterday that there's 20g of carbs in Nyquil!

no because for number of calories is negligible.

how often is she taking nyquil to be concerned about the carbs in it? a few days of a head cold, not a big deal.

No...but I've also never done anything as super restrictive as keto to where I'd have to actually worry about it.

I don't take medicine often enough to worry about the calories in it. If I was regularly taking a medicine with calories, I probably would log it.

If I was on a diet that depended on restricting certain macronutrients (like keto) and the medicine had some of those macros, then I probably would log it.

    True.
She took a few times last week because she was feeling unwell, she freaked out about the carbs and I didn't see the big deal. I just hadn't realized how many calories were in a dose.

I log all my vitamins & meds to see the nutritional info for the day. Most are 0 cals but my fish oil is 30 cals and my vitamin C that I have to take with iron is 5 cals so it does count.

I log my meds in a different app, but not for calories sake. This other app is a diabetes management app and has reminders for medications. I'm on a lot of meds, so I need the reminders. I also like having a record of having taken them every day.

I’ve check my meds and they’re all calorie free so I don’t bother logging.

My gummy vitamins I take are 60 calories a day. I log vitamins - I just have them saved as a recipe so they are quick and easy to log. Medicine usually not because if I am sick enough for medicine I probably am not as concerned about logging.

I don't bother logging my vitamins, but I did log my cough drops when I was sick. 17 calories each and I think the worst day I ate like 10 of them, so they added up!
