Breakfast and lunch are easy. Dinner and the weekends will be tough. How are you hitting your macros? I feel that will be difficult daily.

Day one and for many days after I would focus on calories and accurate logging. Once you've mastered that you can move onto focusing on macros if you desire. Don't over complicate things when you're just starting out.

Personally, for the 1st week or 2, I just tracked everything I ate or drank. When you see what your patterns are, you can accommodate your must haves. You can go out for dinner and a few beers on Friday and still lose weight. Hate the world if you don't have ice cream before bed? Work it in to your calories. Once you're used to logging what you eat and drink, then you can start working on your macros. Stick with foods you like, (although it's good to try new things) don't force yourself to eat things you don't like, there is almost always an alternative you'll find palatable, and don't deprive yourself of the things you love.

As Mary Ann noted, first track your food intake for a week or two. See where you are at calorie wise and nutrition wise. Then you can start looking at macros and adjustments.

Do you have a particular strategy in mind for weight loss?
