I have a question, should you weigh or measure foods? Example, salad dressing, a serving is 2 tablespoons (31 grams). 31 grams is more dressing than 2 tablespoons. Help!!

Weigh all solids - Measuring cups/spoons for liquids

Weighing tends to be more accurate. With fluids there's not a lot of difference, but anything that can be packed (flour, sugar, etc.) can differ significantly!

With adequate information, weighing is always more accurate. If the Nutrition Facts give a weight for a liquid, feel free to weight that liquid.
  • I weigh my wine. 150g is 5.5oz. Easier to use the food scale than using measuring cups.
