Ok so usually i like to go to the gym about 5X a week but lately my schedule has been really busy and i have not been able to go as much. so my profile and goals still say that i go 5 times. My calorie intake is 1400. should i lower it because i am not working out as much, or can i still stick to my 1400?

The 1400 calories is to lose weight without exercising. You will still lose weight.

FYI, you're suppose to eat 1400 + exercise calories normally.

When you add in your exercise goals (eg 1 hour/5 times a week), they are just a reference point for you to keep track of the amount of exercise you are doing. They don't actually affect the amount of calories MFP gives you in a day. So, just stick with the calories you have been given and you won't have any exercise calories to eat back as you ordinarily would.
