It is now into 2017, and I am continuing to lose. Not a lot of changes from 2016 plan, a few tweaks here and there. I am currently tracking all in MyFitnessPal and printing it out daily. I include some notes and weight tracking. 2017 again has been an up and down re-losing the same weight, but I am consistent in my eating and exercising.
I started to write a book called “Eating to live” and it is a variety of food plans to change up eating. I have learned for me, I have to track daily and really stay focused or I slip up.
I am having continued success however so that is good. I exercise several times a week with Colleen and Karen, so teamwork. I meet with Karla regular too and we share recipes and menu ideas.
Partnering with others is a great way to be successful. This year we started using an exercise board in the pool that you do the twist on. I am losing inches well with this and I am pleased with the successes I am seeing. It is becoming very popular at Park Avenue where we work out. I enjoy sharing stories and successes and failures with others as it is a great way to keep succeeding. I also am into much smaller sizes this summer which also shows improvements.
Food wise Mick and I have started eating less and less carbs. We use Spaghetti squash for noodles and add cauliflower to our mashed potatoes. I also make a lot of beef jerky for snacks and I love making Mexican spicy soups. We both like these options and are eating healthier together.
I still have the potato chip downfall and the have a drink or two in the evenings sometimes which I am working on. I track all now so that keeps me more accountable. I continue to work on water intake to keep that up and I now take a fiber supplement that helps with the digestion of all the proteins I currently eat.
I will continue on this journey to success. Slowly but surely I am getting to my end line goal. I still talk to God on this daily and He is my main partner. With God all things are possible and he will see me through.
