Do you think you ever buy milk from the same cow twice?

Or maybe you got their milk, then had the same one in a hamburger

I could be wrong, and possibly giving away a lot about my upbringing, but aren't dairy cows and beef cows separate?

They are until they get older and aren't producing any more

I looked it up too. I have too much knowledge on cows now and I regret it.

I am not gonna lie...I feel the same way. I educated all of my minions at work too. Theyre not pleased.

What did you find? I saw this:

Female calves (heifers) with dairy breeding may be kept as replacement cows for the dairy herd. If a replacement cow turns out to be a substandard producer of milk, she then goes to market and can be slaughtered for beef. Male calves can either be used later as a breeding bull or sold and used for veal or beef.
