    @Versicolour - today I learned there is such thing as peacock spiders, and they are pretty, here is one example:

    And they live in Australia. Sooooo, I vote you and I take a trip there, crash on @slimgirljo15 couch. You can play with the spiders and I will go find kangaroos.

    You're most welcome.. I can rustle up a few more spectacular spiders too ..

    Tbh seeing these are fairly rare, its mostly just your run of the mill deadly redbacks and funnel webs :laugh:

    I had a Goliath birdeater. But the cold got him before he could grow up.

    I saw pictures of those fields of webs - spectacular! Are they made by the funnel web spiders escaping flooding (of their homes, not humans)? Or was it just the migration of spiderlings? I forget now

    what about the Giant Huntsman spiders, FFS..the first time I saw one of them casually crawl across the roof of my Melbourne apartment I cried for mah Mommy :D

    :lol: I saw one in the feed shed last week.. honestly I think it was bigger than my dog.
