I had a Goliath birdeater. But the cold got him before he could grow up.
I saw pictures of those fields of webs - spectacular! Are they made by the funnel web spiders escaping flooding (of their homes, not humans)? Or was it just the migration of spiderlings? I forget now1 -

what about the Giant Huntsman spiders, FFS..the first time I saw one of them casually crawl across the roof of my Melbourne apartment I cried for mah Mommy
I saw one in the feed shed last week.. honestly I think it was bigger than my dog.2 -
