Can't help but think of the movies Cape Fear and Mud when I think of houseboats. b/c i've never been on one I guess....0 -

This is similar from the same place I hired from, the one I was on "Fantasea" they no longer have.
The one I was on had a huge bedroom at the back with glass sliding doors so you could lay in bed and watch the river. .. was magic.
5 trips I did on the Tweed River also 2 at Brooklyn near Sydney, their houseboats weren't as good though.
You should try, the kids will love it. Can be expensive though.1 -
