Homemade beef jerky - Safe for a daily "meal replacement"?

Aye. I was curious if it's okay to eat jerky for a meal a few times a week instead of my typical protein-filled source like chicken breast or ground beef?
Example: I'd typically eat half a lb of ground beef for dinner. At 95% lean that's about 310 cals and 48g ish protein. Dehydrating a half lb of ground beef would give me jerky with the same macros. Wouldn't have much sodium since I'd be keeping the seasoning to a minimum.
Is there any negative impacts for eating so much jerky daily? I imagine it might affect my teeth over time haha but don't see what else could be harmful about it. I tried to Google it but all I found was info about the dangers of eating too much store bought jerky (filled with sodium and preservatives), no articles about homemade.
And In case any one is wondering "Why would you want to eat so much jerky?" It's because itd be convenient to dehydrate a lot of meat on Sunday and just snack on it when I want all week, freeze some etc, rather than cook a lot and constantly wash pans

Didn’t people before refrigeration dry meat? I think you will be okay.0

Should be perfectly fine, so long as it satisfies you. I could eat jerky forever.0

Sounds good to me. If you're going to be making it that often, you may as well sell it to your pals for a profit. Who doesn't love beef jerky?0

Beef jerky is great, elk jerky even better. I see no problem with eating that. Great protein.0

I love beef jerky for high protein snack or a meat for lunch. Making your own is a great idea.0

The jerky is fine but is that it for the entire meal? Just jerky? I mean, I love me some jerky or meat based meals but I need some veg and starch too, macros and micros.0

Yeah it'd be one entire meal, although not my biggest meal of the day haha. Im not a fan of veggies and I'm keeping carbs low for a while. I have an "over-taster tongue" and unfortunately it means people like me gag on a lot of veggies, cucumber being the worst. I keep things fast and simple by drinking all my fruits and veggies in a green smoothie. A lot of my good fats are consumed by putting coconut oil and heavy cream etc in my coffee, and just big slabs of meat for real meals :0
Pretty much the quickest and most boring ways to hit my macros !0
