Gym question

So my husband and I are trainers and we went to scope out a gym that just opened in the area. The gym has no bathroom. When we asked about it, the manager said the church is always unlocked (it's 1/2 a block away) and that the person who designed it said it didn't need a bathroom. I find this very odd and somewhat of a health violation. So my question is - have you ever been to a gym that didn't have a restroom?

    Interesting, so the employees never need a restroom? That's the strangest gym I've ever heard of.

    That is bizarre, especially since exercise can um...trigger things sometimes. Is there is a locker room?

    I believe the only places required to have a restroom are those that serve food. But that's still unbelievable that someone would open a gym without a bathroom and expect their customers to go to another place of business to use their facilities.

    I thought gyms without child care were weird. ;-) No restroom? Definitely odd, I can't imagine.

    That's illegal they have to have a bathroom for at least the employees ..they just don't have one for the patrons.

    I wouldn't sign up for that gym. Restrooms and locker rooms are amenities I require of a gym. Good luck deciding!

    No I have never heard of such a thing. I would never go to a gym of this sort. Sounds very unprofessional !!

    I go what most would call a hardcore gym and we have bathrooms.

    I woulda looked at you and been all this is not a rest room, it is a do not get rest room. The only thing you can dump here is weights!

    And then I would have laughed the piss out of myself...but hopefully not...'cause no restroom.

    I would guess that there is a restroom that the employees use that they are not telling you about...otherwise how would the employees work there...close up every time they take a dump?

    And yes, that establishment would be shut down here.

    Wrong. A true hardcore gym would definitely have a bathroom.

    Where else would you take a crap right before squatting, or go to throw up after a huge deadlift???? :huh:
