Hi I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if I am consuming enough calories for the P90X program. I'm a 28 year old male, 5 foot 7 and 155 pounds and MFP is telling me to consume 1760/day if I want to lose 1.5 pounds a week. Im trying to get down to 135-140 pounds and be cut with rounder shoulders. I get between 7 to 8.5 hours of sleep a night and eat pretty healthy (I think). An example of a day usually consists of something like this.

Breakfast: -vector protein bar
-greek yogurt (1container) with chia/buckwheat (1tbsp)

Lunch: salad (tomato, cucumber, avocado, black beans or lentils with zesty light dressing)
-can of sardines or 3 eggs or can of tuna

Snack: can of tuna or oatmeal with almond milk (unsweetened)

Dinner: chicken soup (chayotte, carrots, peas, chicken thigh, onion) sometimes with side salad

Snack: carrots with salad dressing

Sometimes I don't even hit 1500-1600 Cal mark is this too low if I'm doing 90 mins of workout 6 days a week? What's missing in my diet?

Thanks for your help!

It's going to be hard to tell if that is enough calories. You will likely have to start with that number, track for 2 or 3 weeks and see how you progress. From there, you can make adjustments to calories and/or macronutrients

Your body will let you know. I am 6 foot 185 and eating about 1500 calories and doing p90. Energy level is pretty easy to gauge (at least so far).

Soup is pretty low in calories. You may want to add a little protein to your dinner.

You should consider adding various protein types to your meats

One of your meals (main course) should be animal protein
You should eat about 70 - 140 grams depending on yours daily activity level
