Hi, I am Vinny. I am 29 Years old and weighing 261 pounds.
Clearly, I am frustrated with my weight issues.
I cannot tie my shoes or Cannot sit and get up with ease. Taking 3 flights of stairs leaves me breathless and I feel like I will die if I do not take a break. I hate going to shopping because I cannot fit in to anything that i like. I have constantly kept growing out of one size to the next. I almost need extenders to buckle up my seat belt when I am flying. To add to the list- I am an Emotional Eater.
I have experimented with lot of fast dieting and gimmicks and slimming programs. Nothing really gave me long term results. I would pack all the pounds back as soon as i stop eating there replacement meals.
So here I am starting off with a clean slate. Just eating nourishing foods and making sure I am active. My goal is to be fit and healthy. I am trying to find my way back to health and happiness.
Join me if you are taking on the same journey.

No such thing as 'clean eating' in relation to weight loss. Simply eat at a caloric deficit. Exercise is a bonus and will hasten your journey. Don't get sucked into supplements, diet pills, fad diets. Just log your food accurately, eat less than you burn, and get fit while you are at it.8

How tall are you? Because that would put your goal weight around 100 pounds. And as others have said, all you need to lose weight is a calorie deficit.3

At least you know what doesn't work or is sustainable. Take the advice of everyone here. Stay active (for health)and log your calories to ensure you are in deficit. 'Eating clean' doesn't really mean much, but I assume you mean nutritionally dense foods that are void of 'empty calories'. Some people find that helpful, but many others find it very limiting, boring and not sustainable or satisfying. Personally I dont worry too much about 'clean' or 'empty' and just focus on being under 2000 calories.
I definitely am mindful of my food choices, but it doesn't trump my desire to have ice-cream or snacks fairly regularly. I definitely make a point of keeping my calories in check though!

MFP does not require "clean eating"...just calorie deficit! You will likely end up making better food choices though.1

Thank you all for supporting.... I understand now that it is more about calorie deficit for weight loss... I will try being mindful about my choices...
