Why does my stomach still look fat?

At 5’4”, 40 yo, and 132 lbs, I’ve lost 12 pounds. Yay! Except... my stomach is still rounded and I still have two small back fat rolls. What the hell? WHY? I know you can’t spot reduce but this is so discouraging. I don’t know. Not sure if I need advice or just to b*tch.

It may be that you are judging yourself too harshly.
What exercise do you do? Taken up weights yet? If not, body re-composition could be what you need. If done properly, weights will help you reduce body fat percentage and increase lean body mass.2 -
Yeah, I mostly do cardio with some weight (planking, curls). But perhaps not enough.0
