Hey everyone so I’ve always been able to basically eat what I want and as long as I stay active I lose weight. Well I recently had a baby and I’m getting back into the groove of gibbs I run 4 miles a day and do ab workouts daily as well. Anyone see anything wrong with just my general diet? Like I don’t eat out or fast food I just make whatever we have at home. My husband is small and doesn’t need to lose weight so he he can eat whatever and isn’t really intrested in healthy foods so I just eat whatever basically lol. Help

So long as you're creating a deficit, you will lose weight. If you can create that deficit through exercise alone, that's fine. If you were massively overeating it would be a different story, because it's hard to do enough exercise to counter that. If you're eating at a level where you would maintain without the exercise, then exercise creates the deficit for you.3

If you lose the weight and it works for you...go for it. However, you might want to log your maintenance calories and your exercise calories for a couple weeks just to see where you are. You might be surprised. I personally lost too much weight after the birth of my kids (nursing), so never had the struggle except to put it back on. However, I know for many this is not the case.1

your diary isn't open, so i am not sure how anyone can comment on your diet?3 -
It's fine to do it that way. If you find after a month or so that your weight isn't moving, eat slightly less (example: one piece of toast with breakfast instead of two, 2% milk instead of whole milk, etc.) If you generally are at a healthy weight and just need to come back from pregnancy, I don't see a need to completely overhaul your diet, assuming you are making progress.0

If your goal is weight loss you need to eat fewer calories than you would need to maintain your current weight or burn more calories or both. Calories are what are important for weight management not type of food. Are you eating at a deficit or burning enough calories? Are you losing weight at all?
Set up a reasonable calorie goal with My Fitness Pal. If you are 20 lbs or less overweight choose to lose .5 lb per week, 20-50 lbs or less overweight 1 lb a week, over 50 lbs overweight you might choose 2 lbs a week.
Log food and drinks as accurately as you can. If you are exercise log it and eat some of your exercise calories.
It is a good idea for health and satisfaction to get enough protein, fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals from what you consume.
If you want to know if you are doing okay log your food for a week or so.
