Help! I have no idea how many calories I need a day to see weight loss. Right now I’m at about 1,900 a day. Do I need to lower my daily calorie intake?

It depends on how many calories your body needs to function and how much exercise you do. Have you used some of the calculators out there that tell you how many calories you need to maintain? When you complete the settings for MFP, what does it say you need?1

MFP will have set you a goal based on the stats you gave it and the rate of loss you have chosen.
