You plug your stats into setup right here on MFP.

It auto sets to 1200 and that's nothing :(

Switch from 2 lbs a week to 1.

So pick a less aggressive goal. (and remember it is 1200 PLUS exercise calories)

Unless you have more than 75 lbs to lose 2 lbs is way too aggressive. Choose 1 lb. Plus log your exercise and eat back those calories. Log accurately and consistently and tweak if you need to as you go.

I see you first logged on in April. Have you been trying to log calories or are you just getting started? The calories MFP uses depends on your age, height, weight, activity level and goal (lbs per week you want to lose at 500 calories per day per pound a week). I'm on 1200 calories, which works for me, but I'm older and more sedentary. On active days I get a few more calories which I either can eat or add to my deficit which is 600 calories.

If you want to know how MFP actually arrives at that value, you can look up the Mifflin - St. Jeor formula and figure out how that works. If you're trying to lose weight I'd suggest lowballing your estimate of your activity level for the formula / app's purposes, just FYI.
