I struggle with aerobic exercises that involve jumping as I have an week bladder so my aim is to do plenty of walking and Pilates. Will this help with weight / fat loss or is this more for toning ?

It all helps. Walking definitely burns calories, the faster or hillier the better. Pilates must help a bit, the classes I go too are certainly a bit of a workout. Could you also do some resistance training?1

Weight loss is mostly about reducing what you eat. Pilates is great exercise for strengthening your core (and those bladder muscles) but doesn’t burn a huge number of calories. Walking is also excellent exercise and great for well-being but doesn’t burn a huge number of calories either. Keep it up!1
