I have used My Fitness Pal before for tracking my food and exercise but never ventured into any other parts of the program years ago.
Well I’m back and trying to be open to all aspects of support and accountability.
I have had multiple major surgeries over the last 5 years and I am facing another but I need to lose 60-80 lbs before surgery can be performed.
I actually started back a couple years ago and took off some weight and have maintained it but now I need to push harder.
I am a retired nurse due to disability on the job injury and I have been doing well with food, when I stick to it, and drink almost completely water. Since my last surgery a year ago I have had trouble drinking enough. So far this week I have conquered that. I need to get moving which is my most difficult part of this. I have had multiple issues that have prevented me from several forms of exercise.
I started walking a couple years ago and was walking 2-3 miles almost daily and loved it. Right now my back muscles are very weak and my ribs hurt all the time so walking is difficult but trying to push through. Any suggestions? Swimming is out due to $$.

You might try starting with seated exercise. There are plenty of videos on youtube that you can check out, but being a nurse you probably already know about those.

I don't know what kind of health concerns you have, but ketogenic diet has killed my food cravings, and I have been losing weight pretty quickly.
