How to stay consistent...

I often have periods where I can do everything right, only to have all of my progress destroyed by depression and a body that just does not want to cooperate with me. I have yet to figure out a way to push myself up out of bed on the days when I just feel horrible (due to both mental and physical crap). Anyone else deal with something similar to this? What do you do?

Are you bipolar? Do you see a doctor and are you on medications? In my experience depression doesn't fix itself. Yes, I have had periods in my life where I just wouldn't/couldn't get out of bed. Eventually with trial and error with multiple medications and self-determination to improve I got past it. Depression is greatly responsible for me not staying on track last time I was logging calories and losing weight. Now I don't have much choice as to when I start my days as I'm a care taker for my elderly mother and 2 young grandchildren. Granted I'm a zombie some days, but I do get up. If you are not seeing someone for the depression I think you need to or if you are and it isn't working, then try someone new. Even if you do spend too much time in bed, tell yourself you needed it and don't beat yourself up. Try to keep on track with your goals like logging calories and in the end you will feel better.
