How do I delete my foods that I no longer eat anymore?

Hello

I want to delete foods from my personal 'RECENT', 'FREQUENT' and 'MY FOODS' files that I no longer eat.
The answer is on the site somewhere I assume, but I just cannot find it or work out how to do it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Add more foods that you do currently eat? (I'm not sure deleting is possible...)

You can delete from the frequent list, but not the others. I believe (and @CyberTone can probably confirm this) that the only way to get something off of My Foods is if it’s shared with the database and someone goes in to edit the information.

Recent list - The Recent list is a database query that pulls from the Diary on the web version. Since it is a one-time query each time it is accessed, the items displayed from the query can not be deleted unless you remove every one of the items logged to the Diary so the query does not find and pull those items. MFP has deployed a "hide" feature in the Android app that supposedly allows those users to "delete" them, but they are actually just being hidden from display on the Android app.

Frequent list - Users can hide specific items from the Frequent list on the web version. I have never checked to see if the hide function works for the mobile app users.

My Foods list - Personal My Foods items not shared with the public Food Database can be deleted using the web version. My Foods items created on the web version and shared with the public Food Database can not be deleted. You are the owner of that public item and it will show in your My Foods list until another MFP user decides to edit the shared item, in which case, the ownership will transfer to the other user, it will be displayed in the other user's My Foods list, and it will drop off of your My Foods list.
