What are the best daily multivitamin pills for the best cost , IE best value
I last bought a bottle of 365 pills at costco, kirkland brand for 10$ cdn (about 8usd)
They were short on about 4 vita/minerals, i remember selenium was almost non-existant because 2 brazil-nuts is the right amount per day and overeating them can poison you, so it stuck in my head
What are the best multivitamins for quality and coverage of all recommended vitamins and minerals??
---
what other special and/or extra premium or with extra benefits might I consider?
any generic advice on multivitamins welcome
I am dieting atm and I've been getting plenty from vega all in one shakes but I"m stopping those soon
thx

A wide variety of real food is best. If you have deficiencies, ask your doctor.4

You will be replacing your shakes with real food - so you (likely) don't need a vitamin pill. Not unless your diet won't be varied. Your meal replacements were not varied.
I take iron due to a deficiency, but I also use it as ONE example. Iron is best absorbed when taken with vitamin C. Iron is not well absorbed when taken with calcium.....see the potential problems with all-in-one vitamins.
If you want to take a vitamin, just take one that's cheap.......unless you are willing to read up on all the different vitamin interactions and space out several pills during the day.3 -
Unless you have a specific deficiency and are taking a vitamin recommended by a doc, you're just making expensive pee. Vitamins and supplements are poorly regulated and most people don't actually need them. Buy real food instead.0
