Hello, my name is Courtney. I have been on and off stupid diets for nearly 20 years and they have never worked for me because I always wanted quick results. I am finally at a place where I have realized that the only thing that will truly work is a consistent calorie deficit. I have been tracking for 13 days now and tonight I almost threw in the towel. It's actually been fine, but I thought maybe I'd take one night off. But I stayed strong! I have tried Weight Watchers which left me starving, Atkins which left me stressed having to avoid carbs in this carb-filled world, and many other diets. I have 50 lbs to lose to get to a healthy BMI. I just need to keep reminding myself that this is not a diet - it's just what I need to do for my health. Glad to see so many success stories here.

Congrats on reaching 13 days! I'm on day 20 and made the commitment to track it all, the good and the bad. The bad is pretty painful to see sometimes, all it takes is a glass of wine or two to blow my daily calorie goal out of the water However, it's invaluable to see the numbers, they don't lie, and it helps me keep myself accountable when I'm feeling weak. Keep at it!1
