Hypothyroid and PCOS motivation!

Hi everyone,
I wanted to get diet and exercise ideas from those struggling with hypothyroid and pcos (double whammy!)
My story is I used to be a size zero in college! I never thought about weight and was very happy. In 3 years I went to a size 14 without any change in lifestyle. I worked out and was on a plant based diet. I was on a dance team too so I was athletic. In one summer, I gained 30 pounds in two months. That’s just not possible due to lifestyle. I was terrified, alone, humiliated and self conscious. I became an entirely different person in the mirror and it was scary: I was so used to being thin I panicked.
I went on so many doctors and because of my age, they just thought I was making bad choices. Finally I got tested for hypothyroid and yes, my tsh was 12! Symptoms included severe fatigue, sleeping 10+ hours a day and still feeling like a zombie, taking naps after work for 4-5 hours, losing huge clumps of hair, breaking out along my jawline, having an irregular period and just being very depressed and crying all the time.
I am now on metformin and levothyroxine. I’ve started tracking calories and continue to workout five days a week.
I have been hearing a lot about diet changes for hypothyroid. What routines and recipes have helped you lose weight. I am size 10 and would like to get down to a 4-6 by next year. It will take forever but that’s life
I can’t wait to hear everyone’s stories!
