Hi folks

Been hugely inspired by a friend and work colleague who’s also recently won a local bodybuilding competition so here I am 40 years old and 2 weeks in to my new fitness and lifestyle regime. I’m also a heart attack victim of 2 years so this change is hugely important to me. Any advice or support would be hugely appreciated.

    Welcome to MFP! My advice to you is to be honest in your food and drink logging. That's where I started, and why I'm thinner than I was in high-school at 38... The first step is just to be honest with yourself. :) Good luck.
