I did Walking away the pounds DVD with Leslie Sansone. She said that you burn 100 calories per mile, I googled this. A brisk walk is 2 miles with Leslie. On my fitness pal a 2 mile walk is 79 calories.
Leslie warms up with stepping and leg lifts. Later it is more intense with stretchy bands and cools down stretches.

A better guestimate is .57 times your weight (pounds). Brisk vs easy doesn't really matter. The warm ups, stretchy band stuff burns very little as well.

IMO, unless you are walking many miles each day, don't bother counting the calories. Do the walking for your health and use the calories as extras for when your logging isn't perfect.

When I do Leslie, I log it as low impact aerobics, since it isn't just walking. Do it by time, not distance.
