Vacation while on Prep

Has anyone gone on a cruise while on prep? If so, could you share some tips on what to do about meals. Thanks

Prep as in comp prep?
How long are you away, what facilities do you have (for food), what's provided, do you follow a meal plan or do IIFYM?0 -
Looks like you are planning on competing in May.
Not a competitor myself, but I have cruised a lot.
Food is available almost 24 hr a day, but that doesn't mean you have to eat 24hr a day. Same with booze.
Most buffets have a wide variety of foods so you should have no problem finding things that suit the way you are eating at the moment.
Dinner in the dining room is usually a multi coarse affair. Pick and choose what you want. Don't feel you have to eat all the courses, and if there is one you really like you can order 2. I have often got a couple of appetizers instead of a main course, or skipped apys and just had the main.
Avoid things with heavy sauces most of the time.
You can also request the food to be grilled, or veg steamed.
Before you go have a good idea of your portion sizes then you have a better idea of how much to eat.
Alcahol, stick with light beer, spirits with 0cal mixer. Save the wine and the fru-fru calorie bombs until the evening.
There are no calorie postings for food so best guess when you eat.
I always find, even though I splurge quite a bit- I am active enough to come home with minimal (1-2lbs), if any, weight gain once I have shed the water weight from heat, flying, and the higher sodium levels in the food.
Now I need to ask- where are you going, which cruise line, and for how long?
