Been mostly within cals this week gained 5lb! Weighed in last 3 morrnings the same - it took 3 weeks to lose them HOW have they gone on in one week (1 day over cals only).
? Not drinking enough - have been v busy! :/

    By "over cals" do you mean over maintenance or over goal?

    One day welll over maintenance but not 17000! :D - big shock though!
    Been stressful week too so am suspicious I've beeen picking where as usually log everything!

    More food than usual = more water retention and more material in the gut being processed. More stress = raised cortisol and more fluid retention. More carb-y food than usual = more water retention ...

    The bold is your answer. you could not have possibly gained that much fat in such a short of period of time. Learn to work with the fluctuations, this will be important to your weight loss and way on into maintenance.
