Double chin

I'm really skinny, weight 104 and I'm 5'3". I've currently been on a cut and I like how my body looks right now except I've noticed that I have a double chin

Or it could be a genetic thing. Do your parents have double chins?

I’m having a really hard time imagining a true double chin on a 104 pound woman. When I started losing weight at 208 I didn’t really even have a double chin unless I squished my neck back on purpose. I’m thinking either you’re being too hard on yourself, or you’ve got some quirky hereditary thing going on. I can’t in any way see it being fat, though, and I have no idea how one would do anything about that other than surgery or self-acceptance.

It can give a double chin look if someone has a very short chin, or overbite. If it’s bc of overbite, bite correction can help.

I can think of a few skinny girls I know, with very pretty faces and good bone structure who also have "double chins". Sometimes it's just genetic.

I've had a double chin all my life, but I've been heavy all my life. I know some people who lost weight and got a double chin, because the excess fat filled out their neck tissue. When the fat goes, the tissue gets wobbly! I've just started working again on losing weight, but this is one thing I dread.

    Unfortunately, sometimes it's just genetics.

I don't have an overbite and I don't try to push my head back. I don't know if I've never noticed it before but it's making me weary on bulking again. I'm not so sure tho if it is genetics... Hmm

So your 5 ft 3 and 104 pounds and still on a cut....? I have to assume your body image is skewed however you admit your really skinny so im confused on why your cutting to begin with. If your chin really is double chin when your THAT skinny im sorry to say losing more weight wont help

Genetics. I've got my grandfather's face and torso. Short of cosmetic procedures, and holding my head in a certain way, I accept that at this point, it's not going to go away.

Would it be reasonable to have a double chin at 110 pounds? I went to the doctor's for a checkup and the scale said that I was 110 pounds?not 104? Is it reasonable? And to clarify, I was on a bulk but then went on a cut for a couple of months. I didn't weigh this much when I went on a cut.

Weighing at a doctor’s office with clothes and shoes on will make you weigh more.
