Slow and Steady

Hi Everyone,
I started MFP a few years back and got fairly close to my original goal weight of 80kg (making it to 81kg from 103kg). I hit a plateau and got a little burnt out, and decided to give mfp a break.
Fast forward a few years and I have gained a solid 10kg back. Frustrating for me to admit it, but in truth I am 100% accountable for the slip up. Life will alway give us an ample number of plausible excuses, but if I am honest with myself I simply stopped making health my number 1 priority, and that led to small but a gradual decline to poorer and poorer health choices.
I am now back on MFP, slowly getting more and more consistent with my logging. I remember the MFP community as being nothing short of awesome, and after logging back on I was a little sad to see so many of my old friends have become inactive.
So I make this post today in hope of making some new friends to share some experience, laughs and frustrations along the way.
So if want some company while you smash your goals, feel free to add me.

Congratulations on making the decision to rejoin this MFP family.
While the old faces may not be here any more, the same stories, challenges and successes are.
While it is frustrating to be near, yet so far, it is time to....RESET. REFOCUS AND START AFRESH.
No need to give advice. You know what to do and how to do it.
The only thing I would add is this:
THRRE IS NO USE BY DATE!
This is forever.
The good days, the bad days and all the bits in between. You just keep going.
I am happy to support you along this road!
