Need friends to help me achieve my 2018 goal.

Its difficult sometimes to achieve goals and dreams alone, it's far to easy to say I'll go tomorrow.
My goal and incentive for 2018 is to run a 100 mile Ultra trail race not to win
but to just complete it in less than 30 hours. At 56 I know I have my work cut out and have to eat better, run further, spend time in the gym.
I just feel if I knew friends were a little interested and were watching my progress I would never say I'll go tomorrow.
Just to see a few thumbs up, the odd well done, would be enough for me.
I have ran a quite few half marathons in the past couple of years and normally after not running for a few months I'm usually fine on my runs, however as I spent 2017 doing more endurance walking I have lost my running fitness altogether.
I did my first run last night and it was a struggle I only managed 3.58 mile in 40 minutes.
So if you would like to see a overweight 56 year old lose some weight, and train to run a 100 mile Ultra trail race in September 2018 add me as a friend, follow my progress, i'd be very grateful for any encouragement. Thank you
