Clean eating > Calories

I still have much work to do (especially considering maintenance takes a lifetime) so I don't call myself a success story. However, I've reached the first weight loss goal I've ever set for myself, so I suppose this is the best place to share my experience. I'm not looking for applause or anything like that. I'd just like to add to the heap of hope for those who feel like they have none.

For an investment of a mere 1,000 days (as of October 21 2017):
  • 250 lbs to 135 lbs
  • Size 24 to 10
  • 2X to M
  • Several wardrobe overhauls
  • About to run my 3rd 5k race, dispite NEVER being able to run even a half mile before this spring
  • Countless dollars saved in fast food that wasn't worth the calories

Oh, and I did it all using MyFitnessPal to track calories. Filthy, dirty calories. Carbs and GMOs galore!

1,000 days of losing is nothing compared to what I've gained.
