    36 miles to “three days after Rivendell” got to say - not into the vaguely named landmarks- but better that than 150miles between then!

    Yeah, the landmark names are..vague. However, I like reading the bit that goes with them. :D

    Sweet! You'll have the Trollshaws (and Bilbo's Trolls) in the bag in no time at this rate! Although, you'd need a big bag to fit three trolls! :)
    I didn't think I'd have any time to get out over the weekend but I managed 3.15 miles yesterday and, in my early morning quest for coffee this am, got another 5.39 miles in today - bringing me to 1.55 miles to Tower of Cirith Ungol and 316.55 miles to the end.

    I love my coffee and the fresher the better! One of the UK's best coffee importers is only a couple of miles from my current location this weekend, so I'd have been beyond foolish not to avail myself of a bag of one of their fine wares, freshly ground! :smiley:

    Back home and back in my hiking boots again. Got 10.71 miles under my belt this morning - decided to walk to the office rather than drive. 4.95 miles till Sam Sees A Star. Perhaps he should look up more often and spend less time staring at his furry toes! :smiley:

    Reached Rivendell and off to Lothlorien . . . Now traveling with the entire Fellowship.

    Total miles so far = 486

    I'm out in the empty country (rough and barren). Crossed a small stream a short while back.
