just reached the 40 pound mark and I was having a look though some old photos today- I was actually really surprised at the difference! Just through I'd post these to motivate others/ myself to keep going!

Honestly it hasn't been a smooth road to this point cause I fell off the wagon like 100 times and I wasn't really that meticulous with logging all my food (although I did have periods of doing in religiously and I would always lose consistently when I did).
But in general what's worked for me is eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm full, which is hard at first if you're an emotional eater like I am but it gradually becomes second nature. The other big tip I have is walking- I tried going to the gym but it was hard to fit in my day so I just made it my goal to do at least 10,000 steps a day, sometimes I did more like 15,000. It can be a really enjoyable way to burn calories, especially if you download an audio book or a podcast or something to listen to while you do it- I honestly started to look forward to my walks! I also recommend not trying to cut certain things completely out of your diet. Like for instance I'm obsessed with doughnuts so I have one day a week where I allow myself a coffee and a doughnut. This really helps you stay on track cause you have something to look forward to and you don't feel deprived of all the stuff you enjoy!
So yeah, I hope that was helpful

Well done! You look fantastic and have a lovely face.. how long does 10,000 steps take you in total. Like the idea of the audio book to stop the boredom.. Looking into this although have limited mobility - can walk on the flat but not stairs easily. I am 22 lbs down and looking to the next 20 off :-)
