I eat because it's time to eat, even if I am not hungry. I do this to prevent going off the rails when I am hungry and grabbing anything in sight.

When I'm hungry usually. Which is where the problem lies, as I'm often hungry.

I eat a small breakfast, but I'm not necessarily hungry...but I need it to fuel my morning workout or I'd have a lack of energy to power through it.
I eat a snack at 10.30 because I'm really hungry by then.
Lunch around 1, by then I am famished yet again.
3.30 coffee time - not hungry so just a cuppa and maybe one biccie (aka small cookie) just because I need a sugar pick me up.
Dinner around 6 ish...and yep, hungry yet again... the pattern is, I get hungry, I eat to fuel my body. And repeat day after day after day.
Oh and lets not forget my evening cuppa and choccie fix

Basically I eat often but I don't eat much at any one time hence the need for 5 meals in the day.
I eat an average of 1950 cals to maintain my goal range.
  • I practice IF 19/5, so I eat between 3pm-8pm.

Work days I eat on schedule, because I can't eat at work. Non work days I prefer to eat when hungry, but I have a family, so it's when everyone kind of decides they are collectively sort or hungry now.
